Obour Institutes’ Activities
    Following are basic activities held annually on the land of Obour Institutes:
    Celebrating the National Sporting Day on the third of March, celebrating the orphan’s
    day on April, as well as organizing a students’ campaign of blood donations for the
    sake of Children Cancer Hospital.

    In years 2002, 2003, & 2004:
    Participation in the scouting festival at Leaders’ Preparation Institute and Scout
    Camp for Girls.

    Academic Year 2006/2007, Obour Institutes hosted the following activities:
    The 13th. Arab Conference for Psychology, African 7th. Championship for Body
    Building, Arabic learning program for the non-Arabic Speakers (Malaysians) and their
    graduation with the attendance of the Malaysian ambassador and Prof. Dr. Ahmed
    Omar Hashem.

    Academic Year 2007 / 2008:
    Participating in the activities of The Arab Forum for Training the Students of The
    Arab Universities at Assuit University.

    Academic Year 2009 / 2010:
    Second place - Volleyball Girls Team, Championship of the private institutes, Cup of
    the best participant for Scout Team- Scout cycle No. 23, Leaders Preparation Institute
    in Helwan, Third place- Theatre team, Republic championship of the Ministry of Higher
    Education, Third position- Boys’ Scout team, Leaders Preparation Institute in Helwan.

    Academic Year 2011/2012:
    Second place- Boxing team weight 65 kg, & third place weight 75 kgm, Republic
    Championship in Boxing, Third place- hall football team (quadripartite football
    team), Universities & Private Institutes Championship, First place- Football team of
    the Engineering Institute, Ministry of High Education, First place- Taekwondo team
    of the Engineering Institute.


    Academic Year 2012 / 2013:
    First place- Swimming team of the Engineering Institute, Second place- Karate
    championship, First place- Wall Magazine Competition and Ideal Student
    competition, Cup of the distinguished group from the Ministry of High of Education
    for the active participation. The institutes have also participated in challenge &
    adventure championship held in Jordan.


    Academic Year 2013 / 2014:
    First place- Table Tennis Championship, Second place- Judo Championship,
    Second place- Boxing Championship, First place- Chess competition and the ideal
    student competition.
    As for the Friendship Championship of the same academic year, the football team
    of the Management institute got the second place, the third place in basketball, the
    fourth place in volleyball. And for the Management and the Engineering Institutes,
    First place, handball Girls Team, Third place, football team.
